Let’s ride— Andiamo!

Riding to help others. That’s the motto of the Andiamo Motorcycle Charity Run. In fact, it’s more than the motto— it’s our core mission. For the past 20 years we at Andiamo Restaurant, a unique and casual restaurant and bar in Haworth, New Jersey (www.andiamorestaurant.net), have hosted the run (now, with a bike show!).

People of every walk of life come together to both have fun and raise money. In past years, we’ve raised over $100,000. with the help of over 1,000 motorcyclists and our generous sponsors— including this law firm, Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, O’Cathain & O’Cathain, LLC.

State authorities have helped us— including the closing of the George Washington Bridge— and our riders have even enjoyed police escorts. For many years we’ve even donated a new police motorcycle to one of the police departments that escorts our run through a drawing as a way of saying thank you to our law enforcement escorts. Show up to find out which department will take home this year’s Harley Davidson Police Motorcycle!

This year’s run will be Sunday, September 8th, with a 10:20 am sharp departure from Andiamo Restaurant (sign-up begins at 8:00 am). Plus, there’s our 12:00 pm post-run block party! All are welcome— only $10 for walk-ins, so drop by. Plus, collector t-shirts are given to all bikers. There’s live-music, pizza, hot dogs, soda, beer, a 50/50 raffle— and a ton more!

We’re looking forward to donating monies raised to a new Englewood Heath Foundation, Special Olympics, Haworth Volunteer Ambulance, the Andiamo Scholarship Fund at St. Therese, Haworth Police Auxiliary, PMOTA ‘Cop Help’ Fund, Joey’s Fund, and other local charities.

We’d certainly love to see you on Sunday, September 8th, at the Andiamo Motorcycle Charity Run! You can find out more information online at www.andiamorun.com, as well as ‘like’ us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/andiamorun.

So let’s ride to help others— let’s go!
