Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich Honored with AAML’s Fellow of the Year Award

LAWYER: Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq. — On Saturday, June 11, 2016, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, New Jersey Chapter (NJ.AAML.org) honored Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, Esq., partner at Hackensack, New Jersey’s Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, LLC, with its second annual Fellow of the Year Award. AAML is a non-profit membership organization, which provides leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law. Marzano-Lesnevich currently serves as the national organization’s First Vice-President.
Marzano-Lesnevich has been a matrimonial practitioner near 30 years. Last year Madeline was recognized by her peers as the recipient of the Saul Tischler Award from the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association for her lifetime achievement in family law, the highest award given to family law attorneys in New Jersey.
Madeline served as President of the AAML New Jersey Chapter in 2010-2011, and as chairperson of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association in 2004-2005. She has been elected a Diplomat of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, whose membership is limited to only 100 family law trial lawyers throughout the country. She was selected as a New Jersey Super Lawyer, a list published by Thomson Reuters, every year consecutively since its inception in 2005.
Marzano-Lesnevich chairs the Family Law Department at Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, LLC, and is partners at the firm with her husband Walt Lesnevich, daughter Francesca O’Cathain, son-in-law Domhnall O’Cathain. The firm has 11 attorneys.
